Hi, I’m Victoria.
I love yoga. I love how it makes my body feel soft, strong and open. I love how it calms my mind. I love how it gives me a little bit of space in a very hectic world.
I’ve been practicing for around 15 years and during that time, I’ve experimented with all sorts of yoga. Perhaps not surprisingly, my yoga practice really came into its own when I was pregnant with my first daughter. I found yoga to be a huge comfort and calming influence throughout pregnancy, labour and the post-natal period. I am also passionate about how yoga can equip us with the tools to face the challenges of motherhood.
I specialise in pregnancy yoga and slow-flow vinyasa yoga, concentrating on connecting breath and movement. I try to focus on moving with grace (most of the time!) and finding stillness within the movement. Moving like this allows the body to become stronger and more flexible. I teach group and private classes in and around Shrewsbury.
I trained with Yoga London in 2015, under the guidance of the awesome Holly Warren, and I completed my pregnancy yoga training with Uma Dinsmore Tuli, an inspiration and a light. I also trained to become a Strala Guide with Tara Stiles in early 2018.
