Practice for the body that you have today…

 

This is a little reminder to myself, and who knows, it might just help someone else.

Practice for the body that you have today. Not the body you had when you were 18, or the body that you saw on Instagram five minutes ago. Close the eyes and feel how you are feeling right now. Tune into the breath. Tune into any sensations that you feel. Notice how tired you are. Notice any aches and pains. Breathe into those sensations.

Then roll out your mat and practice for your own body, this one, the only one you have. And treat it with the respect that it deserves. Your own, special, utterly fabulous body.
